Originally from Irving, Texas, Amber runs a lot of behind the scenes magic, from sales, to marketing, to keeping the business organized and running.

As for me, Jamie, I'm an English professor who has lived in the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, and the Lone Star State. I earned my advanced degrees in Pennsylvania and worked as a barista at different coffeehouses for nearly a decade. Along the way, I learned a great deal and refined my taste. Since moving south, I haven't found coffee that I enjoyed.

As a result, I started roasting my own. After some practice and experimentation, I decided to share with friends. When I realized that I was not the only one who enjoyed my coffee, I turned my hobby into something that other coffee lovers could enjoy.
